Director of the School of cultural heritage and activities Foundation since September 2020.
Architect. Graduated in “Restoration of Monuments” and with PhD in “Territorial and Urban Planning” (University of Rome “La Sapienza”), she has been working in the Ministry of Culture since 1990.
From 2012 to 2020, at the head of the Superintendence of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape for the City of L’Aquila and the Municipalities of the crater, follows and coordinates activities and programs related to the restoration and post-earthquake reconstruction of the cultural heritage, taking particular care also of the aspects of dissemination and scientific and disciplinary comparison at national and international level.
He participates in international seminars on disaster reconstruction including ICOMOS International in Paris and Istanbul (2016). He is a member of the Italian-French Joint Committee for the Restoration of the Church of S. Maria del Suffragio in L’Aquila (2014-2018) and component of the technical table for the construction of the new headquarters of MAXXI L’Aquila in the restored Palazzo Ardinghelli. Responsible for the restoration and reconstruction of the Basilica of Collemaggio, coordinated by the Superintendence of L’Aquila. Completed in less than two years, the restoration received the Grand Prix of the European Heritage Awards/Europa Nostra Awards 2020, in the “conservation” category.
He has held lectures and seminars for advanced courses, doctorates and masters, and numerous interventions in conferences and conferences. He has published books, articles, essays and critical texts on architecture, urbanism, landscape and restoration.
