SUSTAINABLE ECOSYSTEMS

Session II – The ESGs: art, culture, landscape and sustainability

ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) is a phenomenon, on a global scale, that can be defined as a rating system, created to measure and to determine whether an initiative is sustainable in environmental, social and governance terms.

In the world of art and culture, these three elements are associated with the motivations that lead collectors, galleries, artists, and businesses to take responsible long-term actions often related to their communities and local areas.

Aspects such as the environmental impact the system produces, actions to support inclusion, and governance factors adopted for greater transparency and equity are just some of the issues supporting positive change within the entire arts and culture sector.

The conference is an in-depth look at this trend that is spreading to all areas and deserves special attention.
