Museu Nacional de Belas Artes

Ph.D. and Master’s Degree in Education at the Specialization Program at Universidade Federal Fluminense (Niterói, Rio de Janeiro – Brazil) – Line of Research: Language, Culture and Formative Processes, specialist in Psychopedagogy, Cultural Management and Children’s Literature and graduate in Pedagogy at Universidade Federal de São Carlos (São Carlos, São Paulo – Brazil).

She is currently an Educator at the Museu Nacional de Belas Artes – Rio de Janeiro – Brazil, researching and developing meetings for educators, creating accessibility and welcoming programs for museum workers. She works mainly on the following topics: museum didactics, museum and early childhood education, and museum as a space for teaching aesthetic education.

She curated the exhibitions “Children’s Carnival and Other Carnivals” (2019) and “Time to Play: the poetic universe of childhood in the collection of the National Museum of Fine Arts” (Google Arts & Culture). She has been director of Esquina Cultural, a cultural and arts center, and has developed programs to encourage reading and creative writing for children and adolescents. She is also a writer and playwright for children.
