Ricercatrice e archeologa

She is a researcher and archaeologist specializing in Digital Archaeology, with a focus on ancient roads. She holds a PhD from the University of Milan and worked as a researcher in digital archaeology for several European universities. Passionate about walking, she has combined research with a passion for hiking, crossing Europe on foot on Roman and medieval routes. Thanks to a Marie Curie grant, she has mapped an ancient Roman route linking Italy, to the Danube. She is also an Environmental Hiking Guide and author of books, hiking guides and travel articles. She performs professional consultancy for the design and development of walks and slow tourism routes and, since 2023, has been an advisor to the Minister of Tourism for walks and tourist routes.
