
Samanta Isaia
After working as Accounting and Finance Manager for the Committee for the Organization of the XX Olympic Winter Games in Turin – Audiovisual Rights Department, in 2006 Samanta Isaia was appointed Administrative Director of the newly established Museum of Egyptian Antiquities Foundation of Turin. In 2019, she was appointed Managing Director, coordinating the institutional activity of the Foundation in all its organizational, managerial, financial and administrative aspects, according to the directives of the President and the Scientific Director.
Her main responsibilities include coordinating the day-to-day activities of the Foundation and managing relations with national and international institutional and commercial partners. She is responsible for setting and preparing the interim budget and annual accounts. While the Director is directly responsible for the scientific departments, the heads of the following departments report directly to Samanta Isaia as General Director: – Institutional Activities and Private Events
– Projects, Development and European Funds (fundraising activities and special projects)
– Administration, Human Resources and Services
– Collections Management and Coordination of the Traveling Exhibitions Program
– Technical, Safety and Environmental Office. Regarding traveling exhibitions, she is directly responsible for the development of this area, planning the exhibition program, building relationships with new institutional partners, and establishing business agreements. He coordinates the bidding office, procurement procedures, contracts, tenders and agreements, with particular reference to extraordinary activities such as the 2015 renovation project and the museum transformation planned for 2024, designed by the international architecture firm O.M.A. Throughout these years, she has identified the needs of the organization and promoted and managed many development projects for the institution, such as the internalization of various services for the public (the cafeteria, the video guide), the evolution of the organizational chart according to the Museum’s needs, the production of key documents for various stakeholders (the Integrated Report and the Economic Impact Analysis), and the creation of new areas of activity such as fundraising. Her areas of expertise include: museum management, defining and managing the implementation of organizational strategy, finance and accounting.
