Museo Diocesano Agrigento (MUDIA)

Director of the Diocesan Museum of Agrigento, art historian and conservator of the cultural heritage of the Diocese of Agrigento. She is the diocesan officer responsible for CEI (Italian Episcopal Conference) funding procedures for cultural institutions (museum, library, and archive). She is also in charge of national and international loan procedures for works of art belonging to the Diocese of Agrigento.

She has overseen numerous restoration projects involving the medieval and modern ecclesiastical historical-artistic heritage.

She curates the network of local museums within the Archdiocese of Agrigento.

She is the author of monographs, essays, and art-historical entries on Sicilian heritage, as well as educational museum activities for children.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Cultural Heritage from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Palermo, and completed the Postgraduate School of Protection, Conservation, and Promotion of Medieval and Modern Art History at the Libera Università Maria Santissima Assunta (LUMSA) of Palermo.

She also earned a Master’s in Management of the Culture-Tourism System in the Mediterranean area.
