Angelina Marcelli
eCampus University in Novedrate (CO), where she also directs the interdisciplinary research center IMPRESA.
She has been a publicist journalist since 2022.
Since her early studies, she has been interested in agricultural and environmental history. She is the author of numerous publications on the history and economic institutions of Calabria and has been a speaker at several national and international conferences.
Parallel to her academic activity, in order to indulge her personal interests, she specialized in Religious History and Franciscan Studies and earned a degree in Social Doctrine of the Church at the Lateran University. At the conclusion of these latter studies, in 2015 she discussed a thesis entitled: Charitas. Saint Francis of Paola and the Custody of Creation, later published (2019) with Arachne.
From this research work, she developed a passionate interest in the life of St. Francis of Paola, which she cultivated through popular works published in the communication organs of the Shrine of Paola and the Shrine of Our Lady of the Miracle in Rome.
Convinced that the ‘genius’ of the Paolan deserved to be brought to light through more modern and fitting forms of communication, she embraced the project of “The Way of St. Francis of Paola,” finding in it the perfect place to build a ‘biography on a map’ as the association’s head of Communication and Culture.
For Terre di Mezzo Editore he published (2024).
