LARGE DIGITIZATION PROJECTS: RISKS AND SOLUTIONS

Sponsored and organized by Haltadefinizione

The historic Franco Cosimo Panini publishing house, specializing in the publication of art and children’s books, facsimile editions of ancient illuminated manuscripts, and the production of journals and school supplies from its own and licensed brands, ahead of its time, already in the early 2000s, began to direct its research and invest in the Digital Humanities sector.

In 2017, with the acquisition of Haltadefinizione, a company specializing in the digitization, preservation and enhancement of national and international cultural heritage, he implemented a tech revolution in the company.

The conference is a time for analysis of best practices to be adopted in the management of large cultural heritage digitization projects.

Speakers include Luca Panini, managing director since 2010, and Luca Ponzio managing director of Haltadefinizione, founder and CEO of Memooria, and co-founder of EnjoyMuseum, a company that designs “experiences” inside museums by merging high technology, usability and design.

Speakers:

  • Luca Panini, CEO Franco Cosimo Panini Editore
  • Luca Ponzio, CEO Haltadefinizione

The panel will be held on Thursday, Nov. 17, from 3:15 to 3:45 p.m. in Room 2.
