EXPERIENCES OF COMMUNICATION AND PARTICIPATION

EXPERIENCES IN COMMUNICATION AND PARTICIPATION
Sponsored and organized by ANA – National Association of Archaeologists

The theme of the VI RO.ME Museum Exhibition is related to ‘Museums as open spaces,’ in a post-COVID landscape in which museums, archaeological sites and parks, and cultural venues seek new forms of public engagement.
In this sense, the challenge, yesterday as today, is to increasingly foster the inclusion of a diverse audience, with a view to greater proximity and participation in the history of the places and things of our past.
Following the thread of the aforementioned themes, the event proposed by the National Association of Archaeologists will see the involvement of the Ostia Antica Archaeological Park in order to recount the communication, enhancement and educational experiences gained within the Park’s work and any future projects.

Speaker:
Marina Lo Blundo, archaeological officer of the Ostia Antica Archaeological Park.

Chair: Aglaia Piergentili Margani, President Lazio Section, National Association of Archaeologists

The meeting is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 17 from 12:30 to 1 p.m. at the Gauguin Room
