Simone Verde
Simone Verde (1975) is currently director of the Monumental Complex of Pilotta (Parma) and was responsible for scientific research and editorial production for the Agence France-Musèums/Louvre Abu Dhabi. He studied Theoretical Philosophy both in Rome and in Paris, has a doctorate in Anthropology of Cultural Heritage and has a degree in Museology and Art History at the Ecole du Louvre. For Marsiliohe published Cultura senza Capitale (Pisa Prize 2016) and Le belle arti e i selvaggi (2018). As art historian, he has collaborated with Italian museum institutions and with numerous newspapers, including France Culture, Il Manifesto, Il Fatto Quotidiano, l’Unità. He translated from french for Adelphi, Fazi, Sellerio publishers and was assistant of Antonio Tabucchi, of whom he editedL’oca al passo and its edition French. He has a column in the Huffington Post.
