Niccolò Contrino
As strategic consultant he oversees for Regione Lazio a fundraising campaign in favor of 10 historical and cultural sites (including Santa Severa Castle, WeGIL Building, Doria Pamphilj Palace, San Domenico Cloiser, Villa Ponam, Pastena Caves, Palidoro Tower).
In 2018 he has been appointed in the shortlist of experts in public-private partnerships of the Italian Ministry of Culture (managed by ALES spa).
He has been working for 8 years as fundraiser for several cultural institutions, including Piccolo Teatro di Milano, Museo Bagatti Valsecchi, Festival Corde dell’Anima, Milano Film Festival, Brianza Classica and MUSE – Science Museum in Trento.
Since 2016 he takes part as speaker to the Festival del Fundraising, the main event dedicated to fundraising in Italy, with specific contents about cultural management.
In 2017 he founded Patrimonio Cultura, a company focused on fundraising and promotion for cultural heritage and activities. During the years Patrimonio Cultura has collaborated with Donizetti Foundation in Bergamo, Emilia Romagna Public Theater, Teatro Menotti in Milan, Sardinia Theater. As Patrimonio Cultura we hold classed and courses for NGOs, foundations, companies, startups, research institutions, public administration.
In 2015 he was appointed Fundraising Director for Fondazione Somaschi, a religious organization committed to social inclusion, migrants and human fragility.
In 2014 he was account manager for CrowdChicken, a software house, working with some of the most valuable Italian NGOs in social welfare, such as Emergency, VIDAS, COOPI, Terres Des Hommes.
He is also specialized in cultural promotion and performed guided tours, including a collaboration with Teatro alla Scala and the Municipality of Milan.
He also worked as executive producer in the performing arts and film industries, including plays at Teatro Litta in Milan and Teatro Orologio in Rome and movies for Cinecittà Academy and the Municipality of Assisi.
He taught at Università Cattolica of Milan as Professor Assistant and he held team building classes at IED Venice, IULM Rome, ASTER Bologna and LUISS Rome.
