Maria Rispoli
Maria Rispoli is an archeology official at MiBACT; since 2019 she has been working at the Archaeological Park of Pompeii where she is the director of the Fundraising Office and the Unesco Office. She studied at Federico II, University of Naples, focusing on the study of Greek and Roman archaeology. She obtained a master degree in Cultural Heritage Management at the Luiss Business School in Rome. She collaborated in numerous research projects and archaeological excavations with the Archaeological Superintendence and the Universities of Campania. She has participated in the design of the valorisation activities promoted by the MiBACT Institutes and local administrations, such as the project on the restoration and valorisation of the Riace Bronzes, exhibitions and events of the Museum of the peninsula of Sorrento among others.
Since 2010, she has been initiating and managing public-private partnerships with enterprises and banking foundations.
In 2011, she curated the artefact’s exhibition of the museum dedicated to Radici del Presente, which houses the archaeological collection of the Assicurazioni Generali in Piazza Venezia in Rome, of which she was the scientific director until 2018. She is the author of scientific publications deriving from archival research and the study of the results of excavations that she has personally carried out.
