Davide Dalpiaz
He was born in Bolzano in 1971. In 1996 he obtained a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Bologna, where he later obtained a PhD in Animal Biology. His collaboration with Muse (then the Tridentine Museum of Natural Sciences) began in 2003 and led him to take care of cultural mediation, communication, teaching, organization of exhibitions and setting up of exhibition spaces, making documentaries.He was also part of the organization team of the XVI International Bear Association (IBA) Conference on Bears and coordinated the educational project connected to the communication initiative of the Autonomous Province of Trento “Get to know the brown bear”. In recent years his interests have increasingly turned to the language of audiovisuals and documentaries, to multimedia technologies dedicated to communication and dissemination. For MUSE he coordinated the design and implementation of many of the multimedia, interactive and audiovisual components. He is part of the operational teams of the LIFE Wolfalps and LIFE Franca projects. He worked on the multimedia component of the temporary exhibitions Extinctions, Human Genome, Cosmo Cartoons, Tree Time. He graduated from the two-year specialization course in Jazz Piano at the Bonporti Conservatory in Trento in 2015. It seems that it doesn’t matter, but yes. That’s MUSE.
