Session II – The management and enhancement of collections in repositories.
In the context of the important thinking about accessibility to collections and the desire to broaden the reach of cultural institutions to a wide and diverse range of audiences, repositories have gained increasing importance in recent years, becoming a lively point of discussion in the process of redefining the relationship between museums and the public.
The conference will feature professionals in the field who will discuss the topic of shared management and strategies, as well as the challenges and opportunities related to the enhancement of collections held in repositories, drawing on national experiences.
The discussion will be an opportunity to reflect and stimulate ideas and future perspectives on the possibility of transforming museum repositories into dynamic places of learning and culture.
