Zhang LiKun
Zhang Likun is currently director of the Library and Information Department of the Nanjing Museum, secretary-general of the Digitization and Intelligence Committee of the China Museum Association and deputy director of the Media and New Technology Committee of the Jiangsu Museum Society. He has 24 years of experience in the work of the Nanjing Museum. His main areas of research and practice are museum digitization, computerization and digital exhibitions.
In the area of digital activation and display of cultural relics, he led the Nanjing Museum’s “Treasures of the World: The Beauty of Digital Cultural Relics” project, which involves the 3D collection of exquisite cultural relics and the construction of knowledge graphs to interpret the relics’ crafts and historical histories. In the area of digital exhibitions, he led the immersive digital exhibitions “Boats on the Canal” and “Romance on the Canal” at the China Grand Canal Museum in 2021. In the area of computerization system construction, he led the construction of the Nanjing Museum’s computerization system and the development of an open-function big data analysis platform.
