
Valeria Romanelli
She graduated in chemistry in October 2005 from the University of Naples Federico II. In 2012 she obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in “Fundraising Policies and Strategies” at the University of Naples Federico II, indulging her passion towards active participation and volunteering at various nonprofit organizations (including 10 years with the Redemptorist Fathers for missions in Madagascar).
After several years of fundraising training in 2015, R&Rconsulting individual fundraising consulting firm was born.
Today she is a senior consultant and lecturer in fundraising at the School of Fundraising in Rome. She is also vice-president of AIES bbcc – Associazione Italiana Esperti Scientifici per i beni culturali (Italian Association of Scientific Experts for Cultural Heritage).
She held elective positions in the municipality of Novi Velia (SA) for eight years and it was during those years that she approached the topic of economic sustainability and innovation, focusing her attention toward community welfare.
Particularly committed to the cultural sector and fundraising for culture and cultural heritage; she has conducted numerous published studies on cultural issues (including with authoritative names in the field) and conference activities for AIES bbcc. Since May 2019, she has been a member of the short list comprising 10 experts in fundraising and cultural patronage nationwide, drawn up following public notice by Ales – Arte Lavoro e Servizi S.p.A. an in-house company of MIC.
