The Italian headquarters designs and manufactures “compactable archives” or “compactable shelving” in-house: it is
a static shelving unit mounted on movable bases that in turn slide on rails embedded or laid on the existing floor. This movement of “compacting” allows the space available to be utilized and optimized, opening only one corridor at a time. For the same amount of space occupied by a traditional shelving system, you can double the storage and archiving capacity with a compactable archive.
