Sofia Bilotta
An art historian and museologist, she holds a European master’s degree in architectural history from Roma Tre University. An expert in museum education and accessibility and heritage pedagogy, she has curated projects for several museums and participated as a researcher in projects for La Sapienza University and the Lazio Region on regional museum systems. She has been working at MAXXI since 2004, first within the Education Office, of which she was head from 2014 to 2018, currently heading the Education Office and the Public Engagement Office, which carries out accessibility and intercultural projects from a participatory perspective. Since the 2016-17 academic year, he has been a lecturer in Museum and Territorial Didactics at the School of Specialization in Historical and Artistic Heritage of the Faculty of Humanities at Sapienza, University of Rome.
