Parco Archeologico del Colosseo

Architect and landscape designer, he was appointed Director of the Parco Archeologico del Colosseo following an international public selection.

Previously, he served as Director of the Parco Archeologico  dell’Appia Antica and worked extensively on the restoration of cultural and historical-religious routes and itineraries for the Lazio Region. He has been a member of several inter-institutional working groups for the enhancement of the Via Francigena and the Via Appia.

Specialized in Landscape Architecture at the University of Rome “La Sapienza,” he obtained a PhD in Urban, Territorial and Environmental Planning at the University of Florence, focusing on the relationship between cultural and landscape heritage.

He is the holder of the Management of Cultural Heritage course at the American University of Rome and the author of numerous publications.
