Silvio Marino
A freelance journalist since 1992, he has gained extensive professional experience in the public and private sectors, with a path that embraces institutional communication, territorial marketing and project management related to the enhancement of cultural and tourist heritage.
After an initial experience at the Banca del Cimino (1986-1989), he worked as a Civil Administration Officer of the Interior until 1997, holding various positions at the Prefectures of Livorno and Viterbo. Subsequently, he held positions of increasing responsibility, including Deputy Head of the Press Office and Institutional Relations of Telemontecarlo and PR & Event Manager for Fox Kids / Jetix.
He also held institutional positions as Chief Secretary of the President of the Lazio Regional Council and Head of the Citizen Relations Office of the Lazio Region. From 2018 to 2021, he was a member of the staff of the Lazio Region’s Tourism and Equal Opportunities Department, with delegations on walking and outdoor tourism, and continued to collaborate with LazioCrea and the European Association Vie Francigene (AEVF), of which he was vice president.
Currently, he coordinates the “Project for the Promotion and Enhancement of Religious Journeys for the Jubilee” for Zetema and is Delegate of the Mayor of Rome for the AEVF, continuing his commitment to the promotion of religious journeys and the culture of slow travel.
