Michela Cascasi

Ph.D. in “History of Architecture,” since 2018 she has been an architect officer at Service II of the General Directorate of Museums, where she is Head of the Organizational Unit of the National Museum System: her activities concern the preliminary work related to the accession of the Regions to the SMN and the accreditation of state museums pursuant to DM 113/2018.
In addition, he is Project Manager of the “Development of the Digital Platform of the National Museum System” and a member of the MIC-Foundation School of Cultural Heritage and Activities Joint Committee, participating as a lecturer in information days on the National Museum System addressed to museum operators of state and non-state institutions. He served as a member of the selection committee ” MuSST3#. Integrated cultural design for villas and gardens “, of the Selection Committee for the entrustment of the service of periodic detection, monitoring and analysis of online reputational data of Italian museums, and of the Selection Committee for the entrustment of the works of “Renovation and enhancement of the facades, roofs and attic of the Royal Palace of Caserta.” Representing DG Museums, she was appointed as a full member of the Monitoring Committee of the NOP (ERDF) 2014-2020 “Culture and Development” and the NOP “Culture” 2021-2027; member of the coordination table of the MiC-Ministry of Defense inter-ministerial protocol for the enhancement of military museums; and member of the Steering and Technical-Scientific Coordination Committee of the Memorandum of Understanding data collection and development of an integrated MIC-ISTAT-Regions information system. As part of several projects developed by DG Museums, he has received several assignments as single project manager and director of execution concerning, in particular, the creation and management of IT platforms to support the National Museum System. In particular, since 2022 as execution director he has been coordinating the implementation and development activities of the Italian Museums app and associated ticketing system.
