Mauro Mariotti

Mauro Mariotti, professor of Environmental and Applied Botany at the University of Genoa, where he is president of the service center for Western Liguria and director of the Hanbury Botanical Gardens (Ventimiglia) and of the homonymous Regional Protected Area, responsible of the curriculum in “Applied Biology to agriculture and the environment” of the PhD in “Sciences and technologies for the environment and the Territory”. He has published over 500 articles, monographs, essays in national and international journals and volumes, coordinated national and international research projects and carried out periods abroad in countries of Central and South America and North Africa carrying out research activities mainly on the analysis, the assessment, management and enhancement of biodiversity.
