Marina Docci is Associate Professor of Architectural Restoration at Sapienza University of Rome, where she teaches in the single-cycle master’s degree course in Architecture and is a member of the doctoral college in History Design and Restoration of Architecture. She carries out her research activities in the field of conservation and enhancement of cultural heritage, with particular regard to the knowledge, analysis and evaluation of the processes of transformation of the city and its architecture and the recovery of disused industrial heritage. She is the author of numerous publications and a member of the editorial board of the journal “Patrimonio Industriale” and the “Bollettino del Centro di Studi per la Storia dell’Architettura”.She is currently a member of the board of directors of SIRA-Italian Society for the Restoration of Architecture (2021-2024). and vice president of AIPAI-Italian Association for Industrial Archaeological Heritage (2022-2025).
