
Luca Milan
Luca Milan, graduated in architecture in Rome after a study period at Arkitekturskolan in Stockholm. In 2003 he obtained a PhD degree from the Faculty of Architecture in Pescara. During these years he has been a consultant for several public and private institutions, among them: the Risorse per Roma Society, the Office of Architecture Competitions of the Municipality of Rome, the Valore Italia Foundation for the promotion of Italian Design, the Department of Cultural Policies of Roma Capitale. As an expert in exhibition space design and multimedia installations, he has been a consultant to the Mission Structure for the enhancement of national anniversaries. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Inarch Lazio and Chairman of the Board of Aquario Romano Srl, the service company of the House of Architecture and the Order of Architects of Rome. In May 2022 he coordinated the hosting project for young Ukrainian architects “Design for peace,” sponsored by CNAPPC with the support of the Department for Youth Policies of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the technical support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Italy. Since 1999, he has been the owner and founding partner of Studio NEXT Urban Solutions, which operates in the fields of architecture, urban design and landscape by completing diverse projects in the private and institutional spheres. The Studio has realized multimedia exhibitions for important national museums, such as the Memorial dedicated to Giuseppe Garibaldi in Caprera, the Museum of the Roman Republic in Gianicolo, and the Museum of the Guardia di Finanza in Rome.
In the field of smart office design, the studio has realized the offices of the SIAE headquarters in Rome and the new BNL headquarters in Rome Tiburtina and Milan Diamante.
