Laura Dellamotta
Laura Dellamotta graduated with honors from the Faculty of Architecture of the Milan Polytechnic University and is co-founder and general manager of the multidisciplinary firm Dotdotdot, founded in 2004 in Milan, specializing in the design of museum itineraries and corporate experience with a particular focus aimed at innovating the visitor experience and governance. Over the years he has consolidated expertise and experience in the design and development of digital strategies for culture and the design of digital systems for museums, historical archives, and cultural institutions.
Within the two companies he is general manager and oversees the development, management and communication of projects. In his 21 years with Dotdotdot, he has successfully managed multidisciplinary teams of major projects such as the multimedia visitor experience for the Castles of Cannero, the digital platform of the Luigi Rovati Foundation Art Museum, the large immersive exhibition “Raphael and the Domus Aurea” at the Colosseum Park in Rome for Electa, the immersive and digital exhibit at the National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia and the archaeological museum in Sessa Aurunca, the international exhibit “Earth Bits – Sensing the Planetary” in collaboration with ESA (European Space Agency) at the Museum of Architecture, Art and Technology in Lisbon.
With Dotdotdot, he has won several awards including major national and international awards such as: IF Design Award, ADI Design Index, DIA Award, Reddot Design Award, German Design Award, Innovation by Design.
In 2014 with Dotdotdot he opened the OpenDot Fab Lab, a research and innovation center dedicated to rapid prototyping and technology experimentation, in 2025 becoming a Foundation that promotes innovation through participatory design, opensource technology and active community involvement.
