IRViT – Regione Lazio
The I.R.Vi.T. – Regional Institute for the Tuscolan Villas, was established with Regional Law No. 43 in 1992, to promote and ensure the conservation, enhancement, most appropriate usage and best knowledge of the Tuscolan Villas and the surrounding parks and gardens.
The objectives of the institution are:
Promoting, disseminating and encouraging the cultural awareness of the Villas in the firm conviction that, in addition to representing our history, they constitute a concrete resource for our future;
Organizing events to give more visibility to the historic architectural heritage of the Tuscolan Villas at national and international level;
Preserving, restoring, transmitting and enhancing the immense historical and architectural heritage of the splendid Tuscolan Villas;
Educating the new generation to respect and protect the historical and artistic heritage by supporting events that propose teaching and educational experiences as an important cultural and human enrichment.
