Hyperborea operates in the field of information technology applied to archival and cultural heritage. We have always been distinguished by the dual expertise, archival and information technology, that we express. This enables us to offer comprehensive and technically advanced solutions in all areas in which we operate. We combine technical skills with project management methodologies and specializations. Decisive elements to ensure the achievement of goals, even in the most complex projects. We provide consulting, coordination and management services for archives. We design cataloging interventions for heterogeneous collections (artworks, photographs, manuscripts, and old books). We carry out online publication projects of cultural heritages, dealing with metadata of digital reproductions. We offer sorting, discarding and management services for repository archives, including in “hybrid” settings.

Ariadne software, was born in 1998 from the contamination of skills and experience in archival and computer science. In its first version it is devoted exclusively to the description of historical archives. Today, with the Ariadne4 web service, the application cases have grown considerably in the direction of a truly multi-environmental solution, with a focus on digital dynamics, which are now indispensable in the management and enhancement of cultural heritage.
Arianna4Work, a back-end platform, supports the reordering, cataloging, and management of descriptive cards and digital reproductions.
Arianna4View, performs front-end functions, offering innovative web publishing tools and paradigms for the enjoyment and enhancement of preserved cultural heritages.
