The software is based on an SQL database capable to collect heterogeneous data from General Archives, Inventories, Catalogs, Exhibitions, Thematic Paths, Restoration, Loans, Education, Funds, and Donations, including PDF and DOC documents, JPEG and TIFF images. It also allows the import of external archives through Excel tables or web services. The software consists of two main parts: Back Office and Front End. In the Back Office there are all the necessary functionalities, including data search, manual data entry, and editing via a client-server interface. In the Front End, data can be accessed through various interfaces, including browsers, smartphone apps, and tablets. Integration with IoT technologies, QR codes, RFID and beacon is also planned. The software can be customized for specific applications.
