Giulia Gallerani is an architect and museum exhibit designer.
After graduating from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Ferrara, with a thesis on the recovery of the former city prisons and their conversion to house the National Museum of Italian Judaism and the Shoah, in 2010 he collaborated with the then Regional Directorate for Cultural and Landscape Heritage for Emilia-Romagna in drafting the call for competition for the design of the Museum.
For several years he worked as architectural project leader at the Bologna-based architecture and engineering firm TECO+partners, overseeing the integrated design and construction supervision of numerous public, school, sports and residential buildings.
Since 2016, he has been the technical manager of the National Museum of Italian Judaism and the Shoah (MEIS) in Ferrara, where he coordinates the design and implementation of the exhibits, taking particular care of the technical and operational development of temporary exhibitions. Within the Museum, he is also in charge of planning and managing maintenance operations, ensuring the functionality and conservation of the facility.
His activities now focus on the design and technical management of museum displays and spaces, with particular attention to the conservation and operational needs of exhibition environments.
