Gaia Bobò

Gaia Bobò is a curator and researcher based in Rome. Between 2022 and 2024 she served as curator as Fondazione La Quadriennale di Roma. Educated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, the Hochschule für bildende Künste in Hamburg and IULM University, she is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” and the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.

She was co-founder of the independent space SPAZIOMENSA, in Rome. She has collaborated with institutions, galleries, and non-profit spaces in Italy and abroad, including: Fondazione Pastificio Cerere, Gluon, National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art, CURA./Basement Roma, Polish Institute of Rome, Cyland, and the National Academy of San Luca.

Her writings have been published by Treccani, Mimesis, viaindustrae, Silvana Editoriale, DITO Publishing, and Castelvecchi Editore, among others. She currently contributes to the cultural publications Alias – il manifesto and CURA.
