Emanuela Daffra
Emanuela Daffra is the director of the Polo Museale della Lombardia. Dr. Daffra, born in Milan, a senior art historian, is a profound connoisseur of the Lombardy region in which she has worked in the employ of the Mic since 1990. He has held important positions within the institutes of the ministry such as: chief curator in charge of collections at the Pinacoteca di Brera; deputy director of the Pinacoteca di Brera; and director of three restoration sectors (Textiles, Wooden Sculpture, Tapestries) at the Opificio delle Pietre Dure in Florence. The Polo Museale della Lombardia includes, among others, the Museo del Cenacolo Vinciano (MI), the Museo Archeologico Nazionale in Mantova, the Archaeological Area of the Grotte di Catullo, Cappella Espiatoria in Monza Brianza, the Museo Archeologico Nazionale della Lomellina, Vigevano (PV); the Museo della Certosa in Pavia; and the Museo Archeologico Nazionale della Valle Camonica Capo di Ponte (BS). She is appointed ad interim as the new Superintendent of the Opificio delle pietre dure in Florence.
