
Elena Mengotti
Born and raised in Italy, she holds a law degree from the University of Parma, a Master’s degree in European Law from the University of Roma Tre and an Executive Master’s degree in Public Management from Bocconi University in Milan. Since 2010, Elena Mengotti has been responsible for Administrative, Accounting, European and International Affairs in the Central Directorate for Culture and Sport of the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia. With her 20 years of experience in planning, managing and evaluating European projects, Elena has occupied a pivotal role in coordinating activities in the field of cultural policies for regional development, through the constant search for innovative solutionsin the ways of supportingCultural and Creative Enterprises (CCI), a major economic sector in the Region. It has contributed to the development of new forms of support for innovation in the regional cultural and creative business fabric, creating opportunities for the development of innovative products and services through the promotion of collaborations between the world of cultural and creative enterprises and that of traditional businesses. The involvement of “traditional” cultural operators such as museums and local businesses has also made possible a constant improvement in the promotion of a culture of innovation.
Result that encapsulates this path moreover in continuous growth is Eureka- the fair for culture and creativity, whose second editiona Pordenone on October 29 and 30, 2024,will expand the opportunity to establish new collaborations and synergiesal CCIs coming, for the first time, from all over Italy and even abroad.
