Cristiana Ruggini
Graduated in Palethnology at the University of Rome Sapienza, she specializes and obtains a PhD in Prehistoric Archaeology at the same university where she worked until 2015 as a research fellow dealing with recent prehistory of southern Italy and the Mediterranean.
Since 2017, she has been an archaeology officer at the Ministry of Culture where she has always been involved in museums, working at the Basilicata Museum Pole (now the Regional Museums Directorate) and at the Lazio Regional Museums Directorate, where she still works in various positions, including directing the Exhibitions and Loans Office.
Since 2021, she has been director of the National Archaeological Museum in Formia and the National Archaeological Museum and Archaeological Area in Sperlonga.
