Claudia Carlucci
Claudia Carlucci, PhD, is Director of Polo Museale Sapienza. Professor of Etruscology and Italic Archaeology at Sapienza University of Rome. Corresponding member of Journal of Etruscan studies. Her personal research interests include: sanctuaries, sacred architecture and decorations in Etruscan (especially southern Etruria), Roman, Latin and Faliscan temple buildings, as well as the system of votive offerings and votive deposits. Member of the research groups on the Etruscan cities of Veio and Pyrgi (S. Severa, Rm) and on the Agro falisco. She has curated numerous scientific projects for temporary archaeological exhibitions and permanent displays, including the rooms of the Veio, Faliscan and Latium sanctuaries at the National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia and Villa Poniatowski. He has curated the temporary exhibitions for the area museums of archaeology of the Sapienza Museum Centre. She is involved in museology and museum education.
