Alessia Del Corona Borgia
Having graduated in Modern Literature from Milan’s Università Statale, after various internships she had the opportunity to start the American office of Friends of FAI in New York, where she stayed for three years, during which she obtained the Professional Certificate in Arts Administration at the New York University. For five years she was in charge of cultural promotion and enhancement at the Department of Culture of the City of Milan. In 2014, she co-founded the 5VIE district, a cultural and territorial marketing project. With this experience, she specialized in the development of territorial policies and cultural projects as an driver of social regeneration and became familiar with the city of Milano, its potentials and its criticalities, often collaborating with the City Council and the Municipio1, participating as a member of the “Green and Urban Furniture Commission.” She is a strategic consultant for several major cultural entities such as the Fondazione Italia Patria della Bellezza, of which she is director, and the Basilica of Sant’Ambrogio for the project of valorization and musealization. Since September 2021 she has held the position of Vice President and Councillor at Milan’s Municipality 1 with the following mandates: culture, tourism and territorial marketing, trade and crafts, local identity.
