Alessandro Abis graduated in Geoengineering from the University of Cagliari and developed expertise in mining with experience in mining projects in different continents and in Sardinia, as Subsoil Manager and Deputy Director of Fluorite of Silius S.p.A., (Fluorite mine and
Galena). Subsequent experiences in tourism entrepreneurship, education and destination management enable him to acquire soft skills suitable for contributing to the promotion of mining heritage culture and tourism, particularly geology and mining. He is also Regional Coordinator for Sardinia and former National Vice President of AIGAE, Italian Association of Environmental Hiking Guides. He is a member of the Technical Scientific Committee of the Normann Village Association,” and is currently Head of the Land Protection and Development Area of the Historical and Environmental Geomining Park of Sardinia.
