Adrienne Drake

Adrienne Drake is the founding Director and Curatorof Fondazione Giuliani in Rome, a non-profit contemporary art space that emphasises new artistic production and the exploration of multiple or tangential aspects of an artist’s practice. Since the Foundation’s inception in 2010, she has curated an international roster of solo presentations and group exhibitions, including artists Caroline Achaintre, Will Benedict, N. Dash, Michael Dean, AlicjaKwade, Benoît Maire, AhmetÖgüt, Nora Schultz, Oscar Tuazonand Francesco Vezzoli, as well as developed a programme of guest curators, performances,events and off-site projects.

Independently, she has curated exhibitions at the Academy of Fine Arts, Rome;CNEAI Centre national édition art image, Chatou, France;Festival Internazionale del Nuovo Cinema, Pesaro;FondationHippocrène, Paris;MACRO, Museum of Contemporary Artand MACRO Testaccio, Rome; Press to Exit, Skopje.

In 2016 she co-founded Magic Lantern Film Festival, a semi-annual thematic investigation of the interstice between visual art and cinema.
