“AIPAI PHOTO CONTEST 2023” AWARD CEREMONY

AIPAI PHOTO CONTEST is the photo contest organized by AIPAI, Italian Association for Industrial Archaeological Heritage and TICCIH Italia, International Committee for the Conservation of Industrial Heritage in collaboration with DICEA – Sapienza University of Rome, Do.co.mo.mo Italia, AEM Foundation (Milan), ISEC Foundation (Sesto San Giovanni), Maire Tecnimont Foundation (Rome), Musil Foundation (Brescia), RoMe Museum Exhibition and Rete Fotografia.
The contest designed to raise awareness and promote the culture of industry, the memory of work, and the architectural, technological and landscape heritage of industrial archaeology was aimed at professional photographers, amateurs, temporary or permanent groupings, associations, with no limits of age or nationality who told, documented, represented the industrial heritage through the presentation of a photographic project.
The novelty of this second edition that AIPAI wanted to reserve for photographers under 35 is the Young Talent Patrons Award supported this year by the Maire Tecnimont Foundation, which provides for: the publication of the winning shots in the magazine “Patrimonio Industriale,” an exhibition and the signing of a work contract with the Maire Tecnimont Foundation having as its object the realization of a photographic campaign dedicated to the historical and archival heritage of the Maire Tecnimont Foundation, for a monetary consideration.
