3RD EDITION OF THE “STATI GENERALI MONDO LAVORO DELLA CULTURA”

The third edition of the Stati Generali Mondo Lavoro della Cultura 2024 in Rome brings together institutions, companies and professionals to discuss digitization, new skills and the enhancement of cultural heritage through dedicated meetings and workshops. The event, to be held on November 14 and 15, 2024 as part of RO.ME – Museum Exhibition, aims to explore new challenges and opportunities in the world of culture, with a focus on the evolution of skills and the role of digitization in cultural heritage.

Thursday, Nov. 14 will be devoted to a series of meetings addressing key issues such as the role of institutions in culture and cultural tourism.

Following the opening ceremony, the conference will address The Role of Institutions in Culture: institutions discuss their role in protecting and promoting Italy’s cultural heritage, with a focus on future challenges and opportunities for the sector. This will be followed by the meeting Cultural Knowledge in Evolution: Continuing Education and New Skills for the Cultural Sector, during which the importance of continuing education in developing new skills in line with evolving cultural needs, between tradition and digitization, will be explored. Closing the day will be the panel Cultural Tourism and Museums: Synergies for Territorial Enhancement, which will be a discussion on the synergies between cultural tourism and museums to enhance territories, with innovative strategies to link cultural heritage to tourism dynamics.
