Carolina Botti
Since 2016 Director in ALES (a company with capital fully subscribed by the Ministry of Culture -MiC) following the merger by incorporation of the “Società per lo Sviluppo dell’arte, della cultura e dello Spettacolo – ARCUS S.p.A. where she held the role of Central Director since 2005.
In her current role she is in charge of promoting and managing innovative projects for the enhancement of public cultural heritage also identifying new sources of funding and development of cultural offerings. Since 2015, she has also been the contact person, on behalf of the MiC, for the management and promotion program of the Art Bonus and sponsorships, also performing a public-private interface function aimed at raising awareness and involvement of the private world (citizens, businesses, third sector, etc.) in projects supporting the protection and enjoyment of public heritage. Since 2021, she has headed the organizational unit that provides the Ministry of Culture with technical assistance for the implementation of the NRP. He also oversees several ministerial funding programs by monitoring the implementation phases of projects and the disbursement of funds allocated to them. Previously, she held top management positions both in strategic consulting (Mac Group, Gemini Consulting, Booz Allen & Hamilton) where she managed several complex projects in Telecommunications, Utilities, Services, and in the corporate sector as CEO of a Start Up of Monte dei Paschi di Siena Group.
She holds “cum laude” a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, from the University of Naples and an MBA from the Sloan School of Management of MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), Cambridge, USA. Recipient of numerous awards including: Manageritalia Excellence Award 2013 and honor of Knight Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
