Laura Silvestro
Laura Silvestro, born in Rome in 1966, married with two daughters.
Responsible for bookshop publishing and merchandising for Zètema Progetto cultura srl since 2005, for the Sistema Musei in Comune, and the Casina di Raffaello and Technotown toy libraries, and the ticketing system since 2020.
She follows the bookshop management activity in 360 degrees, from profit and loss account to set up, participating in international trade fairs, including Museum Expression and Maison&Objet, to have a constant comparison and update with the various museum realities. Favorite activity: “creating, disassembling and reassembling” the specific editorial kit for each museum site according to the exhibition schedule and permanent collections, to always surprise the visitor. Began bookstore management at Palazzo delle Esposizioni, one of the first institutional exhibition facilities to take advantage of public-private collaboration for the management of “additional services” starting in 1990 in Rome, then in Genoa and Venice. From 1997 he opened Electa stores in Rome, following the awards of Ronchey tenders for state museums within the framework of the Archaeological Superintendence of Rome, taking care of the design of commercial spaces with appointed designers, the activation of administrative authorizations, the supply and production of dedicated publishing and merchandising products, and the coordination of staff.
