Laura Silvestro was born in Rome in 1966, she is married and mother of two daughters.
She manages the whole process of ticketing, publishing and merchandising in Zètema Progetto Cultura srl since 2005, for the Sistema Musei in Comune, and for Casina di Raffaello and Technotown’s toy libraries.
She oversees the bookshop’s activity at 360 degrees, from the income statement to the exhibition and preparation, while attending the most relevant international trade fairs, to keep herself constantly updated on different museums realities; among the most important Museum Expression and Maison&Objet.
Favorite activity: “to create, to disassemble and to reassemble” the specific editorial kit for each museum site according to the planning of the exhibitions and the permanent collections, with the purpose to always surprise the visitor.
She started her bookshop managing activity at Palazzo delle Esposizioni, one of the very first institutional exhibition facilities that employed public-private collaboration in the provision of “additional services” since 1990 in Rome, and later in Genova and Venice.
Since 1997, following the awarding of Ronchey procurement procedure for the state museums under the archaeological superintendence, she is the commercial manager for the several Electa stores in Rome.
She was also responsible for taking care of the design of commercial spaces with the projectors in charge, the activation of administrative permissions, the supply and production of dedicated editorial and merchandising products, the staff coordination.
