Eva Degl’Innocenti
Eva Degl’Innocenti is presently the Director of Taranto National Archaeological Museum (MArTA), one of the first twenty Italian Museums with special autonomy.
She is also contract professor of Museology and Museography at post-graduate School of Archaeological Heritage “Dinu Adamesteanu” of the University of Salento (Italy).
After obtaining her PhD degree in Archaeology at Siena University (Italy), she directed the Coriosolis Museum and the Cultural Heritage Services of Plancoët Pléan (France).
She was research associate and project manager at the Musée National du Moyen Âge (Paris), conducting research projects on classic and medieval collections of the Museum and collaborating with the Archaeological Unit of Saint-Denis (France).
She had also been project manager for the educational services of Le Scuderie del Quirinale (Rome), in occasion of the exhibition “China. Birth of an empire”, devoted to Qin and Han Chinese dynasties.
She conducted research and project manager activity for a museum project regarding Francesco Petrarca’s house at Incisa Valdarno (near Florence).
She worked at the project of a new Museum for the town of Pescia (Italy), within a research unity promoted by Pisa and Sassari Universities.
She participated at archaeological excavation campaigns in Italy and Tunisia, taking care of archaeological findings studies and scientific projects for museum allocations.
She has been curator for several exhibitions.
She has published numerous articles and delivered talks and seminars in Italian and French Universities.
She carried out projects of exhibitions, movie festivals and other events for the cultural cooperative La Bottega del Cinema in Florence.
