Massimiliano Tonelli (1978). He graduated in Communication Sciences at the University of Siena, from 1999 to 2011 he was director of the paper and web publishing platform “Exibart”. He is currently the editorial director of Artribune, which he founded in 2011, and the editorial director of Gambero Rosso.
He moderated and took part as a speaker at numerous conferences, juries and seminars; he has lectured at higher education centers including the European Institute of Design, the Rome Tor Vergata University, the Garrone Foundation of Genoa, the Link Campus University and the La Sapienza University of Rome. He was a lecturer at the Luiss Master of Art and at the Gambero Rosso Master of Food and Wine Communication and Journalism and is an adjunct professor at the IULM in Milan where he teaches culture publishing.
He has collaborated with numerous publications including Radio24-Il Sole24 Ore, Time Out, Formiche, Dispensa. His texts have appeared in various contemporary art catalogs and essays on art, urban planning and the territory including the annual Civita and Symbola reports. Since 2018 he has been a member of the Scientific Committee of the Festival of Cultural Journalism. In 2018 he was awarded as Cultural Journalist of the Year at the Ischia Award.
