Luca Panini
Since 2010 Luca Panini has been CEO of Franco Cosimo Panini Editore, a publishing house specialized in the publication of art and children’s books, in the facsimile edition of illuminated manuscripts and in the production of diaries and school articles of own and licensed brands.
By combining the technical and scientific skills of university studies with the solid humanistic training of the family business, Luca Panini led the company’s tech revolution. Already from the early 2000s, he focused his research and the first investments of the publishing house in the field of Digital Humanities. In 2017, together with his sisters, he acquired Haltadefinizione, a company specialized in the digitization, conservation and enhancement of national and international cultural heritage. Most recently he acquired shares of Hyperborea and Memooria, leading companies in document scanning and cataloguing and in the development of hardware and software solutions for the digitization, storage and management of images. This project aims to create a corporate pool that can increasingly offer a full spectrum of technological solutions in the world of culture.
