Antonella Cucciniello
Antonella Cucciniello, art historian for the Italian Ministry of Culture since 2001, has worked for museal institutions since 2006. Along with technical and project management skills she is endowed with a special research capability, oriented towards a wide-ranging study of Southern Italy artistic culture (in 2002 she obtained the PhD title). In addition, she is endowed with versatile attitudes in the fields of communication and application of technology to cultural heritage. She achieved excellent results in the management of the Royal Palace of Naples, one of the thirty most visited museums in Italy in 2018, from 2015 until 2018, when she was appointed Director. After two years at the head of the Regional Directorate of Calabria Museums, in 2020 she became the new Director of the recently-autonomous Institute Biblioteca e ComplessomonumentaledeiGirolamini in Naples.
