Anna Zita di Carlo has been the director of the Aboca Museum since 2003. After studying in Perugia at the Faculty of Literature and Philosophy (degree course in Foreign Languages and Literature), she graduated with a master’s degree in Museum Tourism Management. She collaborated in the production of the historical tour “Herbs and Health through the Centuries” and the multimedia tour “Aboca Experience”. Having qualified as an Archivist, she is a collaborator in the project to establish the Bibliotheca Antiqua, the very heart of the Museum. She has developed important international collaborations with other Museums, Universities and various Institutions and has organised numerous thematic exhibitions, including the touring exhibition “Quandol’arteserviva a curare” and, more recently, “La Botanica di Leonardo”, at the museum complex of Santa Maria Novella in Florence.
She coordinates educational projects for schools, as well as the editorial activities of AbocaEdizioni.
