Alessandro Guerrini (Bologna, 1978) graduated in Economics and Management of Arts and Cultural Activities at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and later, winning a scholarship, He obtained a Master in Marketing for Arts and Culture Enterprises at the High School in Media, Communication and Entertainment of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan.  He began his professional career in the museum sector at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, later moving towards the art market, working for two consulting companies in Milan. In 2007 he joined Open Care S.p.A. of which, after roles of increasing responsibility, he became CEO. In 2018 he joined the Arterìa – Art Defender Group, with the role of CEO of Art Defender S.r.l. and the subsidiary Art Defender Insurance S.r.l.  He was Lecturer at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Professor at NABA – Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti and lecturer at the Catholic University of Milan, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and Link University of Rome.  He was a member of the Art Banking Commission of AIPB – Italian Private Banking Association. He is co-author of the volume “L’art advisory nel private banking” (AIPB Editrice, Milan, 2015). He is the author of over seventy articles on the art market and the relationship between art and finance.
