The Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) are a strategic component of economic, social, and regional development. In an ever-changing context, cultural heritage and museums are increasingly taking on the role of hubs for experimentation and knowledge production, capable of bringing together research, culture, innovation, and specialized expertise.
This thematic track provides a forum for discussion on the challenges and growth prospects of the sector, structured around three key dimensions: Strategies and Governance, through an analysis of the role of public policies and national and regional support mechanisms for the growth of the cultural and creative industries; Multi-Stakeholder Synergies, with a particular focus on dialogue among institutions, the research community, museums, and the business sector, to promote technology transfer and enhance innovation infrastructure; Business and Engagement, through the experiences and initiatives of cultural and creative enterprises, which play a leading role in developing innovative solutions and new ways of engaging with cultural heritage.
The goal is to provide a comprehensive overview of the opportunities arising from the intersection of culture, research, and business, identifying concrete pathways to strengthen the connections and competitiveness of the creative ecosystem on an international level.
