Federica Rinaldi
Federica Rinaldi in July 2025 won the international selection for Museum Director and was appointed to the Directorate of the National Roman Museum from October of the same year. Already a competition winner in 2010, she began her work in the Ministry of Culture as an archaeological officer in the Soprintendenza Archeologica del Veneto, where she directed the National Archaeological Museum of Portogruaro; in 2014 she moved to Rome to the Soprintendenza Speciale and in 2017 she was assigned to the Archaeological Park of the Colosseum: here she was in charge, with an organizational position, of the Office for Protection Conservation and Restoration, the Office for Communication, and the Office for Performance and Transparency. In February 2020, she was appointed Head of the Colosseum, where she was responsible for the management of the assigned staff, the protection and enhancement of the Amphitheater with exhibitions, permanent displays and acccessibility projects. She boasts a scholarly curriculum that includes bachelor’s, master’s, PhD, and master’s degree in Management-Promotion-Technological Innovations in Cultural Heritage Management (Roma Tre).
